Terms of use
Last updated: 26/10/2026
1. Who we are
Snoot is provided by Ricky Bhambra, ⚠️ [POSTAL ADDRESS], United Kingdom ("we"). Contact: hello@snootapp.co.uk.
2. Who can use Snoot
You must be 18 or older. By creating an account you confirm this and agree to these Terms and our Privacy policy. Keep your password safe; you're responsible for what happens on your account and your dogs' profiles, including anything co-owners you invite do.
3. Zero tolerance for abuse and objectionable content
Snoot is a friendly place for dogs and their people. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not post, send or share anything that is:
- abusive, threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory or bullying;
- sexual, violent, graphic or otherwise offensive;
- cruel to animals, or promotes harming or neglecting animals;
- illegal, fraudulent, spam, or advertising we haven't agreed to (including selling or breeding animals);
- someone else's private information, or content you don't have the right to share;
- pretending to be another person or dog.
You can report any post, walk, message, playdate request or dog profile in the app, and block any dog. We review reports within 24 hours and will remove content that breaks these rules and ban the accounts responsible, without warning if needed.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, videos and text you share. You give us permission to store and show them to the people you share them with, only to run Snoot. When you delete content or your account, we delete it (see the Privacy policy).
5. Meeting other dogs and people
Playdates, walk buddies and local communities can lead to meeting people in person. Please take care: meet in public places, tell someone where you're going, and make sure dogs are comfortable, vaccinated and under control. You're responsible for your dog and your own safety. We don't check users' identities or dogs' behaviour.
6. The service
Snoot is provided as it is, during testing and after. Features may change, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these Terms. You can stop using Snoot and delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account.
7. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it (for example for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Otherwise, we're not responsible for losses caused by other users, by in-person meetings, or that weren't reasonably foreseeable.
8. Apple
If you got Snoot from Apple (TestFlight or the App Store), Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple isn't responsible for Snoot or its content.
9. Changes and law
If we change these Terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it applies. These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
